Welcome to WheelDog Media's online store! We sell customizable dog-themed artwork on iPhone cases, wall posters, notebooks, home goods and other everyday products. Here's how we started: It was August of 2009. My family was making our annual pilgrimmage to another far reaching corner of the National Park Service, this time to within a couple hundred miles of the Arctic Circle at Denali National Park and Preserve. I avidly watched as a park ranger demonstrated the ins and outs of dog sledding, calling out commands that were met with excitement and enthusiasm from her furry companions. She took a few minutes to talk about each of the dogs and what role they played in pulling the sled. Lead dogs in front, swing dogs behind. And at the back of the pack, the wheel dog. "Lastly, the wheel dogs need to be strong and can't be rattled. They're accountable and always pull at least their share of the weight," she explained to the crowd. "So what type of dog would you be?" Simple. I was a wheel dog. From web to digital to print to fine art and design, every project gets done and it gets done well. It was a perfect analogy of my work style. My ability to excel in a team environment and my love of the outdoors were only icing on the cake. And of course, I like dogs too. Who doesn't?
