My story here expands my lifetime and involves my love for family; children, dogs, nature, learning, design and photography. My parents and grandparents taught me to respect and appreciate nature and all life and when I raised a family of my own, I taught them the same. Learning and teaching never ends. I've also always had a dog in my life, and currently I have a particularly smart dog. A mutt like all the others, but this one is extra smart and clever and absolutely loves every bit of what life has to offer. His name is Rego Berto, and from the first day I brought him home, he decided he was going to take every opportunity he could, several times a day, to experience a new adventure, meet new friends and join them in their activities. .His curious nature and efforts has gained him much expertise with living life to the fullest, and so he is currently writing a book called "The Adventures of Rego Berto, and Guidebook for Living Life," which he expects to have ready for publishing later this year.. During this process, however, he has created 2 series (so far) of what he refers to as his "9 Tips for Living Life" and they are available now in print on several different products, including mugs, aprons, "party parts" such as plates, cups, party favors, invitations, confetti, and more! Besides children, pets, and writing, two of my other passions are photography and design. After attending college to learn graphic design and printing, I ran a graphic design company for several years. Now as a freelance artist, combining my love of both photography and design, I create designs for fabric, wallpaper. and home decor. My fireworks photo series, spanning 25 years, is my favorite as each one represents a "Wedge In Time"- and illustrates a unique pattern at the moment I captured its light, preserving an image otherwise unseen. It's from these images that most of my fabric designs are created, so each has an essence of celebration woven in for enjoying everyday.
