When my husband and I were ready to start looking to bring a pair of new Lab doggos into our lives, we knew we wanted to go the rescue route this time (“Adopt, Don’t Shop”). After researching multiple rescue organizations and shelters, we found our perfect match with Lu’s Labs - a rescue organization based out of Alexandra, VA. The rescue takes such care to make sure they match the right family to the dog that’s the best fit for them. It took six months, but we finally matched with exactly what we were looking for - a pair of young bonded siblings who bring loads of laughter and snuggles (and some groans, too!) into our lives. So, 85% of the profits of this shop will be going to Lu’s Labs. They’re a 501(c)3 non-profit that relies solely on volunteers and fosters to help transport, shelter, and medically care for the pups during transition, as well as adoption coordinators to help pair families with the perfect pup. All that takes a lot, especially since many of these Labs came from kill shelters down south. If you love your Lab, like we love ours….enjoy The Lab Factory’s designs, and do some good in the process!
