The individual actions we take collectively add up. Small contributions to habitat make a difference! Imagine what we could achieve if everyone created a 10’ x 10’ (100 square ft) garden for pollinator habitat and donated $10 to a larger pollinator restoration project?
Over the years we have witnessed the populations of many beloved pollinators decline, largely due to habitat loss and climate change. When people grow plants native to their area(s) that also provide nectar, pollen, habitat, and nutrients for pollinators, the more beneficial organisms flourish.
To be(e) involved, simply
10’x10’ : plant a 100 square ft space with pollinator friendly plants...preferably native to your area. Dimensions may vary as long as it adds up to 100 square ft
+$10 : Buy a sign to bring attention to your pollinator habitat and to donate $10 to a regional habitat restoration project. Proceeds raised in Marin are currently going to the pollinator garden at Neil Cummins Elementary School in Corte Madera
