Original Art, Photography & Design I am a visual artist working primarily in acrylics on canvas or pen & ink with watercolor on paper. I have no formal art education, but have been creating artwork in one form or another all of my life. I love to experiment and have painted on objects as diverse as satellite dishes, eggshells and mailboxes. I was born and raised inland, far from the sea, but my heart has always drawn me to the beach and the water. I have had the good fortune of traveling throughout the continental US and Canada plus Hawaii, Mexico, 4 European countries, and numerous Caribbean islands. I always return to my greatest love – the Gulf Coast of Florida. I have lived many places along this stretch of Paradise – from Pensacola to Key Largo. The majority of my paintings depict scenes from these areas. In addition to painting, I love to photograph the ocean and tropical beaches. My photographs have been sold through stock photo agencies, and I travel frequently with camera in hand. Recently, I have been creating designs for mugs, shirts and other novelty items.
