We meet every 4th Wednesday of each month at the St. Matthews Eline Library. When you click on our meetings you will find directions to the library (or to a place we may be meeting otherwise on a different day for guest conferences, etc.
We are survivors and are often misunderstood. We are Mothers, Fathers, Sisters, Brothers, Daughters, Sons. We are Seniors, teenagers, adolescents: FM does not discriminate.
We know there is a way and need to talk about FM. We need to know there are other people with FM who need us too.
Fibromyalgia is a debilitating disease which has been highly misunderstood for decades. For a long time doctors dismissed their patients as needing psychological help, not medical. But now things have changed!
Today we know so much more and tomorrow may bring even better news. In the mean time, the Louisville and Southern Indiana area needed a support group for the many of us who had nowhere to turn to and to those who would understand what we're struggling with each day...all day long.
About us? Us is a word I hope we get to use soon, because together is so much better than alone.
Join us to see how the power of a support group can get you through your worst days. You will soon see that we know where you're coming from.
