Simplify_Politics

At Simpolfy we are building a better democracy by simplifying political engagement among citizens, as well as empowering them through easy to use tools. Simpolfy will use questions to understand your political profile and help you easily decide whether you are for or against a bill. We then compare your positions to the voting records of your representatives, and show you how you actually align. Users will also be able to directly contact their representatives, vote on legislation and issues, start action campaigns, and join social groups. With Simpolfy, citizens will be empowered to improve our democracy. Currently we are in beta mode, but moving forward very quickly! We have three full-time employees, including a senior web developer with 10 years of experience, committed to bringing Simpolfy to life. We're also one of the lucky few startups that has been accepted into SF based "Tumml" (http://tumml.org). We've also just recently graduated from another social enterprise accelerator in Seattle, "Fledge" (http://fledge.co/). We are a politically impartial, data-driven organization with the mission to improve democracy.
