UC Shampdoria is a 6 a side football team currently playing in the Cork Men's Division 8 astro league. The team plays its game in Douglas astro pitches between 19.00 and 22.00 on Wednesday night. The concept of the club was by current Chairman Kevin Galvin and has a strong squad of versatile players both young and old. UC Shampdoria endeavours to be professional and successful but the main reason behind it's formation is to being together friends for an enjoyable footballing experience Shampdoria boasts members from all parts of Cork City and County, Northside and Southside and is a multicultural club.
