Sauk_Trail

The Sauk Trail Archeological Society is a chapter of the Illinois Association for Advancement of Archaeology. Members of the society share a common interest in archaeology. We are amateurs, professionals, students, and educators working together to research, promote, and protect history in and around McHenry County, Illinois. We are opposed to the destruction, unauthorized excavation, or looting of archaeological sites and actively discourage commercialism in archaeological artifacts.
