Wassail! I'm ᚱᚢᚾ᛫ᛗᚫᚾ from Rune Revival and I'm on a mission to bring back the native English script ― Anglo-Saxon runes. When the Anglo-Saxon people first came to Britain, before they adopted the Latin alphabet, they wrote in runes. There are a variety of rune rows (alphabets) that are all related to each other but each one is a bit different. They were once used by all the Germanic tribes, including the Vikings, and even remained in regular use in a remote part of Sweden into the 20th century.
