I am an architect and urban designer who has a fascination for cities, their natural settings, and loves drawing. The images are all created from my sketches. These sketches are all hand drawn, in pen, on location. Mistakes are simply drawn over and incorporated into the drawing. I then digitally trace/redraw these sketches, keeping as close to the original as possible. Finally I take these digitally redrawn sketches to create each unique variation. Most of the initial images, which you see, are created from my travel sketches. There are also a few from my home town, Cape Town. I intend to develop more of my travel sketches, and in time do more sketch studies of Cape Town, it’s urban life, people, and natural surrounding beauty.
