I am a Cushing's Disease SURVIVOR. Philip (my pituitary tumor) was removed in January 2014. From diagnosis to surgery only took about 5 months. Within those few months it was a whirlwind, I had no idea what Cushing's was! Before I went in to surgery, I bought my whole family bracelets to wear for my that said HOPE FAITH COURAGE. To this day we all still wear them. I love to buy customized merchandise so of course when I found out I had Cushing's Disease I immediately looked for the ribbon colors and a shirt. But if you are a fellow Cushie who has also done this, you know that there is nothing out there. This is not a highly recognized condition, therefore by designing these shirts I hope to achieve more awareness! :)
