It is said that the mandala, a circular drawing with origins in Hindi and Buddhist religions, is an outward depiction of its creators experiences, thoughts and emotions.
Looking at mandalas helps to instil a feeling of calm and peaceful meditation, helping to clear away the days stresses and unwanted thoughts.
Sit calmly in front of your mandala. Focus your faze in the centre point of your mandala. Allow your gaze to slowly move around the mandala, taking notice of all of the patterns and shapes. Slowly move your eye back to the centre. Close your eyes and try to recreate the mandala in your mind. Keeping your eyes closed, remain still and allow your mind to clear. If any unwanted thoughts appear, notice them and then allow them to float away.
