The reason we are inspired by nerd girl designs in 80s and 90s retro anime is that our inspiration came from watching anime series on cassette tapes (VHS) using old televisions (CRT), in shoujo and comedy anime, the protagonist's helper or side character is often a girl wearing glasses. As We believe that girls who wear glasses and are nicknamed 'nerds' have unique, attractive, and kind personalities, with a funny and charming character. They are not just obsessed with makeup, stylish clothes, literature, or studying astronomy and physics; their interests can also align with those often shared by boys, such as reading manga and comics, playing video games, and watching horror, fantasy, and science fiction movies. In addition, we feel a strong sense of nostalgia for the late 20th century—specifically the 80s and 90s. This includes the era of watching television, movies, and advertisements on local channels, or playing old game consoles on CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) screens. This vintage atmosphere has inspired various art forms, including music, visual aesthetics, and graphic design styles like Vaporwave, Retrowave, Future Funk, and Retro-Cyberpunk.
