My Fur Love

As far as can I remember, we've always had dogs in the house. My dad used to hunt almost every weekend, and at that time he had a doggie named Solimoes, which was his hunting buddy. Solimoes was a rescued dog, very smart and loving (like all of our pets are in our hearts). But it happened that my dad had trained him to baby sit me sometimes, just for the fun of it. When he'd give him the command "Solimoes, watch her!", he'd lay down by me (a 6 month old baby), and nobody would come near me.. not even my mom! So, I grew up listening to my daddy telling me and my siblings that story, and even though I don't remember Solimoes, he became "my first fur love". I guess that from then on I became an animal lover, specially with doggies, but I also have a great love and sympathy for all the furry babies out there.
