We are a Southeast-Michigan based group of improvisers who perform short-form improv comedy, similar to what you may have seen on the TV show Whose Line is it Anyway? For those not familiar with Whose Line, improv is a form of live theatre where the plot, characters, and dialogue of a game, scene, or story are made up entirely in the moment. We will often take suggestions from our audience to get started with each scene. Since 2017, Metro Detroit Improv has held meetups in the Southeast Michigan community for individuals of all skill levels who want to experience improv. We have raised thousands of dollars for various nonprofits that do great work for the community, including Common Ground, The Art Experience, MADD, The Brain Injury Association of Michigan, and The Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan.
