I am Norval, my wife Marie Bright Arbogast, is an American Primitive/Folk Artist. We like to call our work <b>Urbane Country</b> because it is very eclectic, ranging from Marie's American Primitive to my more polished graphic Digital Painting and Calligraphy. You can tell we influence each other by our love of pure, joyful color. We specialize in non-english cards in eight different languages, <b>Spanish, French, Italian, German, Dutch, Danish, Portuguese, and Japanese.</b> Our other specialties are <b>Sympathy</b> and <b>Thank You/Note ArtCards</b> available in English and the above listed languages. Other than art and music, our time is spent raising our two sons, and living the quiet life in a small rural town in Missouri along the Kansas border. Here in Missouri our art is influenced by the lush colors and dense foliage of the hills and river bottoms and fifteen miles across the border in Kansas starts the flat lands and their crystal clear, sharply defined hues of native grasses. The amazing thing is one can see the change as they cross the border. In our work we try to capture the wonder of both color worlds.
