L'Atelier d'Esther, LLC is a private art Studio which was created by Nicolas Gheur and his wife Elodie.M Richard, two passionate artists. The artistic couple lives and create in the historic part of New Smyrna Beach, Florida. They combine their backgrounds and experienced skills to give a unique vision where past meets present: ancient and contemporary art gather with harmony, through mural art projects, frescos, original Fine Art paintings, Decorative Paintings, illustrations and Trompe l'Oeil. In Hebrew, Persian, Sanskrit, and Greek (=Aster), the meaning of the name Esther is ''Star''. In Biblical the meaning of the name Esther is ''Secret, hidden''and it is also related to the Venus planet and to Creativity. Independence for us is a necessity, our versatility results in many changes...and often brings travel. Inner travels, in terms of inspirations through Art History, and physical travels as we are European artists and have a long time traveling work experience. Acquiring works of art is not only a passionate and thrilling experience, but can also be a good investment as well as a souvenir of a special moment in time. Our clients range from amateur art lovers/first-time buyers to avid collectors looking for new talent. Some may never have dealt with artists before; others just want to dress their living spaces with authentic art.
