An independent contemporary artist and biologist, exploring the Mediterranean biodiversity and memory through organic structures and transformation. Moving between observation and imagination, this practice constructs intricate visual ecosystems where biological and emotional forms intersect. By translating curated fragments of larger creations into repeating designs, it bridges the gap between complex natural systems and accessible contemporary spaces. This work is driven by nature, ecology, and the diverse cultural and architectural traditions of the Mediterranean basin. I draw deep inspiration from an array of scientific and humanities disciplines. This diverse grounding informs a biomorphic, system-oriented visual language where microscopic structures and organic geometries evolve into intricate patterns of recurrence. Ultimately, designs aim to translate complex natural systems into visual forms that engage human perception with the unseen. Aiming an organic-systemic, deep abstraction from Nature —a visual language built from biological forms, microscopic structures, networks, fluidity, and recurrence. These compositions combine ordered pattern with irregular growth, allowing natural and structural forms to behave as interconnected ecosystems rather than isolated decorative elements. The expression of systemic symbolism and profound emotion is the driving force behind this practice, providing an open language for visual thought. All designs are hand-drawn using a mixed-media combination of watercolor, colored pencil, pen, marker, Chinese ink, and collage techniques. Once the raw composition is developed, the artwork is digitally rendered, arranged, and enhanced. This process allows the final digital form to retain the authentic texture and detail of the physical medium.This hybrid workflow ensures that the final digital patterns preserve the organic textures and intricate line work of the original physical art.
