Jemma studied at Falmouth University, where she honed her skills in Fine Art. Her career blossomed as she moved to London, contributing her creative skills in the film and TV industry as a Set Decorator and Picture Book Illustrator for companies like the BBC, Netflix, and Amazon. Throughout her career, Jemma has continued to nurture her love of painting. Her studio in Gloucester is a treasure trove of sketchbooks and antiques, filled with magical concepts—from the whimsical forced rhubarb to the intricate histories of colors and the delicate details of British flora and fauna. Each character Jemma creates is lovingly brought to life on watercolor paper and with traditional hand painting in gouache.
