Jaxson has dabled in art for many years, but only recently began to do it seriously. He has struggled with severe depressive disorder his entire life, in late 2016 he discovered that art was neccesary for his soul to thrive. Art can bring him out of his depression and eveen keep him falling prey to its crippling hold. Jaxson is still very much a novice in the art world. He is a self taught painter, photographer, poet and craftsman. He is constantly striving to improve his skills and hone his craft to his absolute best potential. ​ His varied interest in the arts have lead him to publish three works of his original poetry,, "A search for Meaning", "Poetry in the Park", and "The Heart of the Phoenix". He has also been able to sell many of his paintings as well as his unique furniture pieces to private collectors over the years. Art is emotional and it touches each one of us differently. Jaxson hopes that his art will touch those who see it and that they may find some joy in whatever he creates.​
