À propos

Founded in 1929 by Roy Coble, a former Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey performer, the Great Y Circus has become a community tradition at the YMCA of the East Valley in Redlands, California. The Great Y Circus continues to emphasize family values, responsibility, commitment, self-confidence, self-discipline, teamwork, dedication, trust, skill, showmanship, and fun. Past and present performers have traveled the globe to entertain a variety of audiences. Many alumni have gone on to become professional performers and still return to help teach circus skills to the next generation of entertainers. Today, the Great Y Circus is co-sponsored by the YMCA of the East Valley and the Community Circus Arts Corporation, a California non-profit public benefit corporation. The Great Y Circus is primarily run by volunteers. Over 300 performers look forward to performing a total of nine shows during the first three weekends in May each year.
