Who: Any child who needs glasses, contacts, or patching for vision correction, their families, and their friends. What: A day to celebrate our children and how their glasses, contacts, or patches help them to see better! When: August 5, 2012 Where: Wherever! We’re holding a fun get together, complete with activities and even a parade, at Lake Harriet in Minneapolis, and we hope that other local Great Glasses Play Days will spring up around the world (we’ll help you organize and get the word out). And we’ll have plenty of ways to celebrate online, too! Why: Because vision is really very important for our children, and we love that glasses, contacts, and patches can help them see better! And because we strongly believe that we can support one another and that our children will enjoy seeing others in glasses.
