My name is Gralyn, I was raised in the Okanagan Valley on 84 acres of farmland. My mother is a professional photographer and has been for many years, thanks to her I found a wonderful passion at a very young age. After photographing the Falkland Stampede at just 13, and my first wedding at 14, I fell in love with the creativity, the attention to detail and the memories that photography offered. After many years, some publications and a lot of new equipment later, that hasn't changed. My aspirations have just gotten more ambitious. ​ I have acquired a genuine love for all genres, from baby photos right to sporting events. I was asked during a rodeo once what genre I preferred over others, and it surprised me that I could not choose only one. Weddings offer many opportunities to capture things that may be forgotten during a busy day of plans coming together, babies are cherished by every family member, rodeos are quick and adrenaline filled. There is truly something that I love about every genre that I have taken part in. What it came down to was I loved to help people preserve the most important moments in life. ​ I love what I do and I believe it truly shows in my work.
