Great Alternative Stores Ltd

I received a 65th birthday card from my son yesterday, he is the three year old featured in the web pictures at the Glastonbury Festival 1981. It said “WE ARE NOT OLD, WE ARE RETRO”. Well, I have decided to resurrect our old GAS registered trademark, produced for us by Chris Angel of Whitmore Thomas. They were the design studio that was responsible for the big BIBA store on Kensington High Street so it was retro in 1972, a year after Great Alternative Stores was started so it certainly qualifies now. We are now calling “GAS” “GREAT ALTERNATIVE SOLUTIONS” as we plan to do more than run a store but this is our store website and we are starting with our first two collections.
