To raise funds for the construction of a church in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles dedicated to the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite, also known as the Traditional Latin Mass . The Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter was created by Pope St. John Paul II in 1988 to provide the Extraordinary Form throughout the world. Archbishop Gomez wicked the Fraternity to establish an apostolate in Los Angeles.
