À propos

I am an MBA student, a new puppy parent raising a pup on my own, and someone who loves being creative. Finn and Paws was born from a very real, vulnerable moment in my life. I’ve been pet sitting since I was 7 years old, starting right in my neighborhood, and eventually grew my experience by working through Rover, spending time in a professional doggy daycare, and caring for dogs on my own. Now, as a dog owner myself, I understand both sides of the coin: the deep responsibility of caring for someone else’s pet and the intense vulnerability of trusting someone with your own. During my first week living on my own with my puppy, Finn was attacked by another dog. Between classes and working four days a week, I felt incredibly overwhelmed trying to find a safe, trustworthy place for him to stay, especially since he wasn’t fully vaccinated yet. That incredibly stressful experience showed me how difficult it can be for new puppy parents to leave their precious pup with someone new, and how important it is for pet services to feel professional and visible. Navigating those chaotic early days taught me so much, which is why I now create journals specifically for new puppy parents to help them learn from my mistakes, bypass the overwhelm, and start off stronger than I did. Finn and Paws exists to bridge this gap. By supporting pet businesses to show up with confidence and credibility, we ultimately give puppy parents the peace of mind they deserve, knowing their dog is safe, supported, and in the best possible hands.
