I try to keep things positive, and I love adventure. I share my positivity and love of adventure as a guide/instructor for my company - go-adventures.com. We create custom adventures in rock climbing, caving, mountain biking, wilderness survival, ice climbing, tree climbing and ropes course teambuilding. One day, on a flight back from Portland, Oregon, I decided to create an illustration of a rock climber making it to the top of the climb, and seeing his dog waiting for him. As I was drawing, I was thinking of how fortunate I am to be able to do what I love for a living. When I finished the rough drawing of the climber topping out and his dog waiting for him, I wrote the words "Like the Life you Live." under it. LifeLike Stuff is a series of illustrations that capture the essence of the activities I love guiding - with "the adventure guy" and his dog in every one. I never named the characters, and I tried not to specify who they were (gender, ethnicity, age, etc). They could be any one of us, anywhere. We should all strive to Like the Life we Live.
