Diana Plaisance Art

I am an artist specializing in abstract, ornamental painting and gold leaf illumination. My style is largely influenced by Medieval illumination and decorative arts, Art Nouveau, and Celtic art ... with a little Van Gogh, Gustav Klimt, and contemporary deco thrown in. I draw much of my personal inspiration from Mythology, Folklore, and Fairy Tales, while my subjects derive from my direct experience of Nature and Dreams.
