Notre histoire
Denny Mfg. was founded by owner Dennis “Denny” Variali in 1971 while he was working in the school photography industry. As a photographer himself, he became frustrated with the lack of products offered in the industry. Denny wanted to create and sell a quality line of creative products to the industry that had been a big part of his life. He hired an artist to paint a photography backdrop and just days later the Denny Co. was born (later to be incorporated as The Denny Manufacturing Co., Inc.).

Through all the hard times and triumphs, Denny Mfg. has continued to expand to the now 98,000 square foot facility. Denny Manufacturing has kept their commitment to enhancing the photography industry by creating innovative, quality portrait backgrounds and posing props for all photographers. Denny Mfg. is the creator of the original Freedom Cloth®, a wrinkle-free backdrop made of a cloth material which has replaced the muslin background. The wrinkle-free backdrop technology allows for worry-free storage, quick backdrop changes during photo shoots, and most Denny designs are offered on the backdrop cloth. Our neoprene Roll Up photo studio flooring are the perfect complement to our backdrops, rolling up for easy storage and providing an extremely realistic look. Many of these products were all introduced to the photographic indust
