Hello! My name is Kaylie Carr. I graduated in Fine Art a couple of years ago (and maybe a little more than that). Then my life took a bit of a downturn, and had to abandon art for the sake of paying rent, getting by. As I've grown, my desire and creativity grew with me. It manifested itself in teaching in South Korea, designing lessons that were beautiful, but no soul. My heart and spirit were always in creating, whether it be drawing, painting, sewing, embroidery, it became too much to deny what was and will always be my purpose. Finally, after all these years, I have the opportunity to reach out and grasp art and my place in the world. Somehow, the stars aligned and gave me the time to devote my time to art. I'm rebuilding my lost and outdated portfolio to apply for a masters. I hope this, combined with opening a shop, can help me share my story-telling, my dreams, my whimsical view of the world - all through illustration. Wish me luck.
