From a booth at a popular neighborhood fair in Baltimore in 1991 a group of volunteers offered boys free "Boys Are Great" stickers. With the stickers affixed to their shirts and jackets, the boys beamed with pride. Their parents — especially the mothers 👍🏽 — were grateful. So much was being done for girls, they said, but no one was doing much of anything for boys.
