À propos

Thomas Cain has been an Upstate New York artist since the early eighties. His abstract works have been exhibited locally, regionally, and beyond, including at the ArtExpo in 1990 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. His early work included 3D wood collages and oil on canvas, his work in the 90's centered around ceramic pottery and tiles, and his current work focuses on acrylic on canvas and pen-and-ink on paper. A resounding theme across all mediums has been his recognizable “creatures”; happy little alien-monster-animal hybrids. His creatures are often put in scenarios that we, the human race, face daily, including prejudice, political divide, environmental issues, and more. His work has garnered as much as five figures from a collector in Europe. This is his first foray into selling his art on mass merchandise, but is looking forward to showing it off in new ways and to a different audience.
