Born in Illinois, Denise E. Ard currently lives Montana. She also lived in the UK for two years of her life. Denise draws, paints, and takes photos. Denise starting drawing at an early age. In her twenties she moved to oils. Her oil painting style is expressionistic and painterly. In December 2025 she started drawing on her iPad with a digital pencil, which allows her more detail as in her early drawing days.
