À propos

Using A(ugmented) Intelligence software to make art. It doesn't always look like what you think of as AI art, since a) I'm not a teenage boy and b) I base my images on other images (my own photos, art, digital art, output from models i've trained on m art, etc) and use prompting to explore what can be done with those base images. For me, it's the same kind of freedom as digital photography was (if you're old enough to remember when it was more about how much disk space you had, not how much film you could afford, and no waiting for getting film developed.) It's about curation as much as generation. It's not about imitating what's been done in traditional media (which definition has been changing ever since the first cave painter to splat pigment on wall with something other than their fingers.) It's about making images that you can't make otherwise, or wouldn't even think of making until you've gone down the weird paths this kind of art will take you to.
