Aching To Be

In November of 2007, the band Saves Nine broke up into just Trevor, Brandon, and Connor. With their passion for music, they stuck together through everything and decided to create a new band with just the three of them. They started jamming and writing parts for songs in the future. They had a few shows and realized, lets step things up and get serious. They held open auditions for Guitar and Vocals every week but nothing ever worked out. They'd get a new member, then the next week they would drop out. Word got out that Aching To Be had a show at Greene Street Club, (their first real show as Aching To Be) in March of 2008. As people heard about this, everyone wanted to play with us, because they new this was the real deal. It turned into a successful punk band from once being a simple jam band. In January of 2008, they held an audition. Alex and Josh both came out on their own time and wanted to see how things were going to go down. They loved our music, as well as our passion for music. They auditioned, and were added to the band. As practices started, they began writing and rehearsing for upcoming shows. A lot of time and effort went into it, but their love for music kept them going. Here we are today as Aching To Be with Alex on lead vocals, Connor and Josh on Guitar, Brandon on Bass, and Trevor backing it all up on Drums. We're hear to make a name for ourselves and hear to show what we have to offer. With huge shows coming up, recording, and touring, Aching To Be is hear and ready to hit the stage. We should have our EP out this Summer as well as a small NC tour. So keep an eye out for us! <3 Aching To Be
