Tapisserie Suspendue Ram Island Maine

A painting of Ram Island near Boothbay Harbor in Maine. The artwork depicts Ram Island Lighthouse and it's support buildings as seen from Ocean Point, Maine looking across Fisherman Island Passage. The island can be seen through a light layer of fog while a duck lifts off from the water in the foreground. The lighthouse was built in 1883 and is still an operational US Coast Guard navigation aid. This Ram Island Light is not to be confused with Ram Island Ledge Lighthouse which sits at the entrance to Casco Bay near Portland, Maine further to the south.
