Former US Secretary of Defense Robert Gates called the Screaming Eagles "the tip of the spear" due to their role in the historic D-Day landing during World War II and the daring Operation Market Garden. They supervised important campaigns in Vietnam, including the Battle of Hamburger Hill. Every stitch on this patch represents the 101st Airborne's fearless spirit and acts as a remembrance of their exciting past. Very nicely made. The design is perfect. Comfortable and light watch. The plastic is nice and smooth and not rigid at all. Love it that you can see it at night! Excellent print quality. Even the small detail of text came out well.
