Cartes Pour Fêtes Annuelles "Why Easter?" Holiday Card

An inclusionary, secular Easter card that explains why Easter may be worth celebrating whether you're religious or not. My family was never religious, but I always loved receiving Easter baskets from my mom. I designed the card that I wish I had gotten in my basket as a kid. The text reads as follows: Why Easter? People have always celebrated the end of winter and start of spring. Eggs and bunnies are ancient symbols of what make this season special: new life and a fresh start. Folklore, religion, and popular traditions have mixed and changed over time, but friends and family still gather in the spring for the same reason they always have: to celebrate stories of rebirth. It’s a brand new day! What story will you add to it?
